You will lead the strategy, analysis, and execution required to reduce Cost of Quality (COQ), improve Service Call Rates (SCR), and elevate the customer experience.<br><br>Serving as the primary quality liaison between Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Service, Product Management, and Commercial teams, this role blends technical expertise, AI-enabled analytics, and strong influence to rapidly identify field issues, implement robust corrective actions, and ensure sustained quality improvements.<h2></h2><h2><span class="emphasis-3">Position</span></h2>Principal Field Quality Possibilities</span></h2><h3></h3><p><b>Field Quality, COQ & Advanced Analytics Leadership (40%)</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive year-over-year SCR and COQ reductions, targeting world-class quality performance.</p></li><li><p>Own and communicate Dishwasher field performance across warranty, concessions, damage, and insurance metrics by platform and subsystem.</p></li><li><p>Leverage AI and advanced analytics to normalize service data, improve failure mode accuracy, and accelerate early issue detection.</p></li><li><p>Identify trends, determine root cause, and partner with Design and Manufacturing to implement corrective and preventive actions.</p></li><li><p>Translate customer feedback and AI-driven insights into actionable improvements across factory and engineering teams.</p></li><li><p>Monitor SCR daily and COQ weekly, escalating issues and tracking effectiveness of corrective actions.</p></li><li><p>Validate fixes through post-implementation performance monitoring and call analysis.</p></li><li><p>Analyze system-level returns and lead resolution strategies.<br /> </p></li></ul><p><b>Quality Holds & Containment (20%)</b></p><ul><li><p>Own Dishwasher Quality Holds from identification through closure at the AP3 plant.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate containment actions across manufacturing and distribution centers.</p></li><li><p>Define rework strategies, tooling, resources, and execution plans.</p></li><li><p>Communicate Quality Hold status and progress to Product Management, Distribution, and Quality leadership.</p></li><li><p>Verify and document effectiveness of corrective actions.<br /> </p></li></ul><p><b>Service, Parts & Customer Interface (15%)</b></p><ul><li><p>Act as the factory point of contact for Field Service, Technical Assistance, and Customer Relations teams.</p></li><li><p>Support service training materials, service bulletins, and technical communications.</p></li><li><p>Partner with service parts teams to ensure correct parts usage and supersedure.</p></li><li><p>Own AI-enabled “Save the Call” case-based reasoning content and performance metrics.</p></li><li><p>Support development of customer education materials, including digital and video content.<br /> </p></li></ul><p><b>Damage Returns & AI Analysis (15%)</b></p><ul><li><p>Analyze Dishwasher damage returns to distinguish factory versus distribution root cause.</p></li><li><p>Use AI tools and data/image analytics to identify damage patterns and systemic issues.</p></li><li><p>Lead corrective action projects across Manufacturing, Packaging, Logistics, and Distribution.<br /> </p></li></ul><p><b>Production Reliability & Validation Support (10%)</b></p><ul><li><p>Analyze data from the Production Reliability Audit Test Lab (PRAT).</p></li><li><p>Review findings with Design and Manufacturing teams and drive corrective action closure.</p></li><li><p>Escalate reliability risks and ensure timely resolution.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><span class="emphasis-3">What You'll Bring to Our Team</span></h2><p><b><u>Minimum Requirements:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor of Science in Engineering <u><b>OR</b></u> equivalent relevant work experience required.</p></li><li><p>7+ years of plant, high-volume manufacturing, operations, or quality experience.</p></li></ul><p><br /><b><u>Preferred:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>High initiative, self-starter, results-oriented, and team-focused.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence change.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience using AI-enabled analytics tools or demonstrated ability to rapidly adopt advanced data systems.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) and ability to learn new systems quickly.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong project tracking and execution skills.</p></li><li><p>Field Quality or Quality Leadership experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience with SCR, warranty, damage, and AI-driven field analytics.</p></li><li><p>Desire to work in a manufacturing-focused environment.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of highly automated Dishwasher products or similar high-volume, low-mix assembly processes.<br /> </p></li></ul><p><b><u>Working Environment:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Office environment with daily factory and shop-floor interaction.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Travel:</b></u></p><ul><li><p>Less than 10% of domestic travel may be
