<p><strong>SCHEDULED HOURS: </strong> Monday-Friday 8AM-8PM, hours vary</p>
<p><strong>PROGRAM/LOCATION</strong> Adult Outpatient Program, Willimantic, CT</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">ABOUT THE PROGRAM</span>: ADULT OUTPATIENT</strong></p>
<p>The Adult Outpatient services provide psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment. Services include assessment, consultation, individual, couples, group, family treatment and medication evaluation and monitoring.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:</strong></span><span style="text-decoration: underline;"> </span></p>
<p>To provide assessment and treatment of clients with mental illness and/or substance use disorders, many of whom have past or present exposure to trauma, chronic medical conditions, poverty, and healthcare disparities. Clinical services are rendered by:</p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinating all aspects of clinical treatment and rehabilitation for assigned clients.</li>
<li>Providing clinical assessment, evidence-based group/individual/family therapy, intensive outpatient treatment, risk assessment and intervention, and other relevant engagement and case management activities that support client wellness and recovery.</li>
<li>Initiating and maintaining collaborative relationships with involved healthcare professionals, social service agencies, and natural supports.</li>
<li>Participating as a full member of assigned program team and multidisciplinary treatment team.</li>
<li>Maintaining quality clinical and administrative records according to agency standards.<strong> </strong></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><strong>:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide evidence-based group, individual, family, and intensive outpatient therapy.</li>
<li>Perform clinical and risk assessments and make referrals for appropriate services and levels of care.</li>
<li>Documents client services and relevant activity in electronic health record and performs assigned administrative tasks.</li>
<li>Participate in assigned meetings including individual supervision, staff and team meetings, and required trainings.</li>
<li>Collaborates with client’s healthcare providers, social service agencies, and natural supports.</li>
<li>Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.</li>
<li>Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.</li>
<li>Additional duties as required.</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Education:</strong> License eligible Masters or Doctorate Degree in behavioral health field. </p>
<p><strong>Experience:</strong> Comprehensive knowledge and experience providing assessment and treatment to persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Relevant experience with evidence-based practice is preferred.</p>
<p><strong>Licensure/Certification/Registration: </strong>LCSW or other license to practice psychotherapy in State of CT preferred. All MSW staff must possess an LMSW or LCSW. Recent graduates may be hired with a valid Temporary Permit to practice as an MSW (valid for 120 calendar days after the date the master’s degree was awarded).</p>
<p><strong>Training: </strong>Demonstrated education, supervised training, and practical experience providing the full spectrum of behavioral health treatment, including clinical and risk assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and group, individual, and family therapy.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>COMPENSATION*: </strong></span></p>
<p>$40/hr</p>
<p>*Our per diem and fee for service positions offer a flat hourly rate.</p>
